🌕 Guru Purnima – A Celebration of Gratitude
Guru Purnima is a sacred Full Moon celebration rooted in the Vedic tradition, dedicated to honoring the guru.
In Sanskrit, Gu means darkness and Ru means the one who removes it. A guru is one who helps illuminate the path with wisdom, compassion, and guidance.
While Guru Purnima traditionally honors our spiritual teachers, it also invites us to recognize that wisdom comes in many forms. The people we meet, nature, life’s joys and challenges, and our own experiences can all become teachers when we remain open to learning. In this spirit, life itself becomes a sacred path of growth.
Join us for an evening of devotional kirtan, guided meditation, simple ritual offerings, quiet reflection, and community as we celebrate gratitude for all the teachers and teachings that continue to illuminate our journey.
